چکیده

In this paper, a dynamic multi-ary query tree (DMQT) anti-collision protocol for Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems is proposed large scale passive RFID tag identification. The DMQT based on an iterative process between the reader and tags which identifies position of collision bits through map commands dynamically encodes them to optimize slots allocation commands. way, completely eliminates empty greatly reduces slots, in turn identification time energy costs. addition differently other known protocols, does not need estimate number tags, reducing implementation complexity eliminating uncertainty caused by estimation algorithm. A numerical analysis shows that has better performance than algorithms larger 300. Meanwhile, when 2000 identity (ID) length 128 bits, total 2.58 s average cost 1.2 mJ, are 16.9% 10.4% less those state-of-the-art algorithms, respectively. addition, extension ACK command also been presented deal with capture effect avoid missing

Unified Q-ary Tree for RFID Tag Anti-Collision Resolution

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology uses radio-frequency waves to automatically identify people or objects. A large volume of data, resulting from the fast capturing RFID readers and a huge number of tags, poses challenges for data management. This is particularly the case when a reader simultaneously reads multiple tags and Radio Frequency (RF) collisions occur, causing RF signals...

Four-ary query tree splitting with parallel responses for RFID tag anti-collision

In an RFID system, tags can be identified by a reader when they are within the interrogation zone of the reader. Collisions occur when tags using backscatter technology report their IDs to the reader at the same carrier frequency simultaneously. The performance of tag identification is degraded by collisions, so it is important to address the tag collision problem. Several anti-collision protoc...

CSMA Multi-stage Anti-collision Protocol for Active RFID Systems

Current anti-collision protocols for active RFID systems stem from the ISO-18000-7 standard, which selects Frame Slotted Aloha as the underlying Medium Access Control protocol. However, these approaches neglect the possibility of using the Listen-Before-Talk mechanism already available in active RFID tags. In this work, a Carrier Sense Multiple Access mechanism with Multi-Stage, (CSMA/MS), deri...

Anti-collision Algorithms for Multi-Tag RFID

RFID is one of automatic technology to identify and collect object data quickly through RF digital signals. RFID increases productivity and convenience. RFID is used for hundreds, if not thousands, of applications such as preventing theft of automobiles and merchandise; gaining entrance to buildings; automating parking. But one of the largest disadvantages in RFID system is its low tag (transpo...

A Novel Anti-Collision Protocol with Collision-Based Dynamic Clustering in Multiple-Reader RFID Systems

The Reader Collision Problem (RCP) is a bottle-neck decreasing the reading efficiency in multiplereader RFID systems. This paper proposed a novel anti-collision protocol – DRA (Distributed Reservation-based Anti-collision) protocol to solve the RCP in multiple-reader RFID systems. Temporal Cluster Headers (TCHs) are dynamically selected among the potentially interfered readers in DRA protocol. ...
